About us

A family business spanning three generations. With roots in Up-State New York, John Pardo Jr. started his first pizza restaurant, called "Giovanni's In Brooklyn". Which saw a great initial success, however, he parted with the business to live closer to his family.


Papa John then opened multiple other restaurants with Latin American Cuisine inspired from his Puerta Rican heritage.

In his retirement and later years, he moved to Summerville Ga, where he lived out his life and create Dixie Subs & More. His grandson John Pardo, continues his traditions to this day with American-Italian inspired dishes that present bold flavors
